Living dangerously

June 27, 2008

I almost lost my camera. I had left it at the internet place last night and only realised its absence from my pocket this morning. Most fortunately, a short delay and detour in our travel itinerary paid dividends; I managed to retrieve my camera from the place I had left it at. The bus is clean, and the driver is not crazy. Bus timings start from about 7am and the last bus leaves at around lunch time 1pm. This means there are no such things as overnight bus journeys in Cambodia, which makes bus travel safer. However this also means backpackers burn precious daylight time on travel.
